After watching the segments from the "Giving Packaging and New Lift" video, to think that we have so much invested in trying to save as much of the materials that we have already used is a great thing to see. Recycling is not something that has sprouted up in the past week, but is something that has been growing for a long time and today we have the capability to recycle a lot more than we would have thought 20 years ago.
Watching the machinery doing its work it is amazing to see the amount of technology that people have invested to make sure they can get everything out on products to make them new. To also see how little human interference is needed to get the job done is amazing. The issue that I have is to think that there are still many people who don't care, for what we do at home by just choosing which bin we throw our rubbish into it is not a large scale process like what happens at these separating factories. What we do at home can change so much not only to save the environment but also to provide use with materials and products that can be used again after one life or service already.
It doesn't take a lot of effort for us at home to recycle our waste but yet it makes such a difference when we all do it. All people should be aiming to try to recycle everything they waste.
